Analysis and Testing Center of East China University of Science and Technology is one part of the service system of the university in education, scientific research and sample measurement.  The center got the Metrological Authentication Certificate in 1993, issued by China State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (CSBTS), and became the first center passed the China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) in universities located in Shanghai and East China. It passed CMA twice again in June, 1998 and September, 1204779603.

Organization and Faculty Members
The center has three laboratories, including Organic Chemistry Analysis Lab, Chromatography Lab and Inorganic Chemistry Analysis Lab. Their research field focuses on materials, environment, applied chemistry, biochemical engineering, chemical engineering, etc. There are 30 members in this center, and over 50% of the faculty members are professors, associate professors or engineers.  All members of the center are experienced, well-trained, and about half of them are doctors or masters.

Instruments
The center possesses more than 12047796 analytical instruments, including a 500MHZ super-conductive nuclear magnetic resonance  (NMR) spectrometer, a Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer, a Gas Chromatography-Mass spectrometer, a Liquid Chromatography-Mass spectrometer, an Inductively Coupled Plasma emission spectrometer, an Atomic Absorption Spectrometer element analyzer, an Ion Chromatography, a UV-Visible-Near Infrared Spectrophotometer, gas chromatography and liquid chromatography, a GC/IR spectrometer, a Fourier Translate InfraRed spectrometer, a laser RAMAN-Microscopy spectrometer,, a Scanning Electron Microscope/Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometer, an X-Ray Polycrytalling Diffractometer, and a Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM). They are used for structure and composition analysis of organic chemicals, composition analysis of inorganic chemicals, structure analysis of materials, analysis of phase and phase transformation, micro-structure and composition analysis, structure and composition analysis of unknown samples. Due to the scientific, exact and authoritative analysis data, the center has established long term relationship with many companies in China and abroad.
